Heidi Klum surprises son Henry with a Ferrari in viral 21st birthday video
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Heidi Klum celebrated her eldest son Henry turning 21 by gifting him a red Ferrari F430, fulfilling a promise made years earlier. She surprised him with the special gift for his birthday on Saturday, September 12.
The gift fulfilled a bet Henry and Klum’s husband, Tom Kaulitz, made when Henry was a teenager. Henry is Klum’s second child and eldest son, whom she shares with her ex-husband, musician Seal, to whom she was married for seven years.

In an Instagram video documenting the surprise, Henry walked outside with his stepfather, Kaulitz, while Klum recorded his reaction to the new vehicle, which retails for more than six figures.
“I can’t believe it is that time. You’ve been waiting for so many years,” Klum said as Henry reacted, “Oh my God! Jesus Christ. I don’t even know what to say.”
Klum later shared a throwback video of a teenage Henry explaining the bet he had made with Kaulitz. “It’s happening on Christmas, and if I lose Mario Kart, then I can’t play video games for three months, and I have to do a painting of me driving,” Henry said.
He continued, “But if I win, then Tom has to give me a Ferrari when I’m 21.”
In the recent video, Kaulitz explained that he had purchased the Ferrari at an auto show “last year” and kept it hidden in the garage “the whole time.”
Klum noted that her husband had “kept his promise” after the video game bet, pointing out that the agreement had been made around seven years earlier.
Klum is a mother of four children with her ex-husband, Seal. Alongside Henry, they share daughters Leni and Lou, and son Johan.
After Klum and Kaulitz married in 2019, a source told PEOPLE that their relationship was easy because he accepted that being a mother was Klum’s first priority.

Last month, Klum also marked seven years of marriage to Kaulitz by sharing a throwback video from their Italian wedding.
The couple had secretly tied the knot in February 2019, two months after getting engaged on December 24, 2018.
Six months later, they celebrated with a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Capri, Italy. In the wedding video, the officiant says, “You may now kiss the bride,” before Kaulitz lifts Klum’s veil and kisses her. Tokio Hotel’s 'Chateau' plays in the background, while Klum captioned the post, “Happy anniversary my love.”
Klum began dating Kaulitz in 2018, several years after finalizing her divorce from Seal.
In January 2020, she told PEOPLE that he had made her “a much happier person,” adding that, for the first time, she had a partner with whom she could discuss everything and share life’s responsibilities.
The couple have also spoken about keeping their marriage “spicy.”
Last July, Klum joked to PEOPLE that there were “a ton of things that I can’t talk about that we do, he just loves when I get all dolled up.”
Klum and Seal separated in January 2012 and finalized their divorce in October 2014. At the time, they said they had “grown apart” after seven loving years of marriage while continuing to have deep respect and love for one another.
