LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Heidi Montag was overcome with emotion as she returned to the remains of her Pacific Palisades home, which was destroyed in the massive Los Angeles wildfire two months ago.

In an Instagram video posted on Friday, March 7, 'The Hills' alum walked through the charred kitchen area, reminiscing about the memories tied to the space.

Heidi Montag says it 'never gets any easier' to revisit

Heidi Montag was particularly touched by the sight of a partially intact colorful mug, which she said brought back a flood of memories.

However, she admitted the visit was “painful” and shared that it “never gets any easier” returning to the place she once called home.

Montag visited the remains of her home alone. Her husband, Spencer Pratt, and their sons, Gunner, seven, and Ryker, two, were not present for the visit.

The Palisades Fire, which ignited in the Santa Monica Mountains on January 7, 2025, devastated large portions of Pacific Palisades, Topanga, and Malibu.

Over 75% of homes and most of the downtown area were destroyed before the fire was fully contained on January 31.

Heidi Montag says she's ‘so sad’ to lose her beloved clothing collection

In a recent interview with Vogue, Heidi Montag shared another deeply personal loss, the destruction of her carefully curated wardrobe.

While acknowledging that clothes are replaceable, she admitted that many of her pieces held sentimental value.

“I was so sad about losing my clothes,” she said, adding, “They're just things, but they’re things I spent 15 to 20 years collecting. Things I wore to special places, with special people.”

Among the items lost were irreplaceable shoes and jeans that she had painstakingly selected over the years.

“I only grabbed two pairs of jeans, and I’m such a jean girl,” she noted, recalling a pair of Paige jeans that made her “feel like me.”

Despite her losses, Montag has tried to rebuild her wardrobe with affordable alternatives.

“I went to Marshalls and bought a bunch of discounted sweaters. They make me feel so much better,” she shared.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt consider reality show about rebuilding

The couple recently revealed they are open to a new reality show documenting the reconstruction process.

Asked about the possibility of a new show, Montag told Vogue, “Well, you never know... It’s Hollywood. There’s always something. We’d hope to even do something about rebuilding the town and showing our community.”

Heidi Montag’s music sees a resurgence amid personal tragedy

Amid the devastation, Heidi Montag’s music career has seen an unexpected boost, according to Daily Mail.

Her 2010 album 'Superficial' recently topped the iTunes chart, thanks to a surge of support from fans.

“It’s an honor to be on the Billboard charts and number one on iTunes,” she said.

“That’s all because of people’s love, support, and appreciation. It’s made a dream come true out of a terrible moment,” she added.

However, Montag admitted she has not had much time to celebrate.

“I’m trying to keep everything else together—being a mom, unpacking, navigating the loss of our home. There are incredible highs and lows. Spencer is tunnel-visioned on work, and I’m just trying to be present,” she shared.
