LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Con artist Anna Delvey is reportedly expected to make thousands of dollars by participating in the ‘Dancing With The Stars’.

The 33-year-old fraudster, who spent time behind bars for cheating banks, hotels, and rich friends by posing as a wealthy German heiress, can earn around $295K if she manages to impress judges and the audience with her dance moves, as per the Daily Mail.

The amount is $20k more than Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, made by her defrauding schemes.

Salaries of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ contestants increase each week

Though the salaries of the contestants have never been officially disclosed by ‘Dancing With The Stars’, a Parade report said they get $125,000 at the beginning.

However, the money increases after a celebrity performs better and stays in the competition. He/she gets a $10K bonus after weeks three and four, and for week five, the participant reportedly gets an additional pay of $15K.

And, for weeks eight and nine, contestants get $30,000, which increases by $20K more if they enter the semi-finals and the finale.

Anna Delvey eager to channel her determined attitude into ‘something positive’

This came as Delvey did her first dance on Sabrina Carpenter's ‘Espresso’ with her partner Ezra Sousa.

She got a total of 18 points from all the judges and during a voiceover, she said, “In 2017, I was accused of multiple counts of grand larceny. I did serve my time, and Dancing With the Stars is a way to show people a different side of me.”

“My prior history shows I’m pretty determined. It’s a good quality to channel into something positive,” the fake heiress noted.
