MILAN, ITALY: Despite being one of the most prominent supermodels in the world, Kendall Jenner's latest images showing her plumper cheeks have sparked rumors that 'The Kardashians' star has undergone cosmetic procedures.

Kendall showed off her new blonde hair and beautiful makeup at this week's Bottega Veneta Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025 presentation.

However, the L'Oreal Paris ambassador was widely slammed on social media for altering her "perfect" appearance and appearing much older than 28.

Although Kendall Jenner has vehemently denied ever having plastic surgery, fans have long conjectured that she might have had fillers in her face, a purported age-defying technique that is gaining popularity among younger women.

In a 2.5 million view TikTok, a user mentioned that Kendall was once "a perfect specimen", but added, "I just think it's better to veer on the side of being conservative with the filler. It ages you quite a bit."

The user further said, "This does not look like a 28-year-old woman to me anymore and she didn't need any of this. The problem is that we know the filler is migrating."

"So it's not going away like they use to tell us. It's going to different places and it's misshaping people's faces. I think that this is why people are starting to look very very wacky. Their natural face shape is not this," the user added.

Experts weigh in on Kendall Jenner's 'unnatural' look

Experts in cosmetic surgery have speculated that Kendall Jenner's new appearance is probably the outcome of both facial procedures and the excision of buccal fat.

Dr Emma Wedgeworth, a consultant dermatologist and the British Skin Foundation representative told Daily Mail that facial filler "can often look unnatural" in younger individuals.

"Dermal fillers were originally used to compensate for volume loss in aging faces. When they are used for augmentation in younger people or to change original features, it can often look unnatural," Wedgeworth added.

"Our eye interprets this as looking older, in the same way as seeing heavy makeup on young children — it looks slightly inappropriate and out of place," she said.

Washington-based face plastic surgeon Dr Houtan Chaboki stated that he believes Kendall has undergone multiple procedures. He claimed to be "drawn to her nose and her lips" in a TikTok video.

"The nose looks thinner in the bridge and the tip. Some cartilage was probably removed and the bone was modified. Her lips are a little fuller and thicker," Chaboki said.

He added: "That can be achieved usually with fillers. Some patients also get fat injections there or do a lip flip with botox. It is unlikely she had upper lift lid surgery, typically that's done in older patients. She may have had Botox and fillers elsewhere."

According to Dr Emma Craythorne, a fellow consultant dermatologist and member of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group, "problems occur whenever quite large amounts of filler is being used."

Meanwhile, a plastic surgeon at the Beverly Hills Institute of Plastic Surgery named Dr Saul Lahijani commented on Kendall Jenner's latest appearnce: "Look at her eyes and her forehead," to his 15,000 TikTok followers.

Lahijani said: "Her eyebrows are more elevated, her eyes are more open. She has a little bit of a fox-eye done, maybe with the brow lift. Look at her nose before and the tip, how round it is. It's now sharper. She has had a rhinoplasty for sure."

A fox eye facelift is a non-surgical treatment in which the upper eyelids' corner is stretched by inserting and tightening dissolvable threads beneath the skin's surface.

"With regards to the lower face, it is now more angulated. She has probably had filers done here in combination with buccal fat removal," he added.

Lahijani added, "Overall, she's one of the most natural-looking Kardashians. She looks great."

Facial aesthetic operations expert Dr Andrew Peredo conjectured earlier that Kendall underwent lip fillers and a rhinoplasty. He said, "The only thing I can really say that jumps out at me is her nose."

"The top part of her nose looks like it is a little bit straighter and a bit thinner and the top also looks like it is a little bit thinner in the 2023 picture compared to the one from 2009."

He added: "She also looks like she has lost some baby weight off the jawline, but it is hard to say whether that is natural or whether she had a little help."

In 2017, Kendall addressed rumors that she had had cosmetic surgery, saying, "As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn't even make sense. It's crazy because sometimes I feel like people just want me to lose."

Additionally, Kendall disclosed to Bravo host Andy Cohen in June 2021 that her family does not uphold unattainable beauty ideals.

"We all really enjoy taking care of ourselves and being healthy," she claimed at the time.
