'He's shown us who he is': Megyn Kelly says Don Lemon is 'disgusting' after fired CNN host makes comeback
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Following the introduction of Don Lemon's new X (formerly known as Twitter) news series, Megyn Kelly does not seem overly thrilled about his media comeback.
Declaring that she is "not rooting for him," the 'Megyn Kelly Show' host declared that she would solely focus on Lemon's criticism.
Lemon, 57, declared earlier this week that he would be launching his series on X, which he referred to as "the biggest space for free speech in the world."
With the premiere of 'The Don Lemon Show', a new streaming chat program on X, Lemon is now making a return attempt despite his considerable reputational baggage. However, social media users have reacted to the show's launch with bitter criticism and general apathy.

In April 2023, the former co-anchor of 'CNN This Morning' was let go by the network, ending his 17-year tenure at the organization.
Taking aim at the former CNN host, Kelly declared on the 'Megyn Kelly' podcast on Thursday, January 11, "Our old pal Don Lemon has resurfaced, or is about to resurface."
"And I realize that the magnanimous move is to say, 'Good for Don. He got cancelled off of CNN, and now he's reinventing himself on X.' Well, that's not what I say!"
She continued her seething by saying: "I think he's disgusting. He hates America, he hates Republicans, and I'm not looking forward to his voice reemerging other than to mock it, which I 100% plan to do," per OK! Magazine.
Kelly's comments follow after Lemon said that, following the signing of a video content deal with the Elon Musk-owned social media site, he would be returning to television with a new show.
The host further added: "He was off the air for two minutes and now like now people are like, 'Oh, maybe he's seen the light. You know, maybe he's gonna come back more fair and balanced.' Oh, sure. Sure, Jan! I mean, bulls**t. He's shown us who he is. Believe him."
Returning to her podcast, Kelly elaborated on her seeming dislike of Lemon, listing the reasons she finds him intolerable.
The podcast host stated unequivocally, "This is not someone who I'm rooting for. I'm not saying he should never be allowed to speak again."
"I'm just saying I don't have to personally cheerlead it, or think it's a good thing, or recognize that this is like some sort of important voice in the conversation and yay for Elon [Musk] for making it possible for him to come back," Kelly continued.
Lemon was fired in response to criticism of Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley for not being "in her prime," which he felt a woman is "said to be in her prime in her 20s, 30s and maybe 40s."
Kelly claimed of Lemon, "He's a pr**k and he f***king hates Republicans. It shows that it's not just a partisan thing… Don Lemon truly hates the right half of the country. Hates. And would love to see almost all of them canceled who voted for Trump."
"So no, I'm not rooting for him in any way, shape, or form," Kelly concluded her rant.
Don Lemon is back 'bigger, bolder, freer'
Lemon used X on January 9, to reveal his most recent professional endeavor.
In a post on X announcing the new program, Lemon wrote "I've heard you...and today I am back bigger, bolder, freer!" He stated that the news series would be "available to everyone, easily, whenever you want it."
Citing X as "the biggest space for free speech in the world," Lemon also hinted that he planned to explore contentious subjects on the show unfettered from the constraints he encountered at CNN.
"The Don Lemon Show will be found first on X, the biggest space for free speech in the world," Lemon stated.
