Sean Hannity shredded as he criticizes Biden's plan to visit southern border and praises Trump's policies
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Sean Hannity faced backlash for criticizing President Joe Biden's decision to visit the southern border while simultaneously promoting Donald Trump's border policies.
In a segment on his show, the journalist referred to the POTUS' visit as "a cynical political stunt by the president" and labeled it as "beyond disgraceful."
Hannity then went on to highlight his upcoming interview with Trump, proudly announcing, "We will be at the border with President Trump on Thursday. His policies actually work."

President Joe Biden schedules rare visit to southern border amid shifting stance on open border
According to USA Today, Biden arranged a rare visit to the southern border for Thursday, February 29, intending to address Republican opposition to border legislation. Incidentally, Trump also plans to make a stop at the border on the same day.
The POTUS' visit, scheduled for Brownsville, Texas, marks his second trip to the border during his presidency and comes amid heightened concerns about record migration at the US-Mexico border, a critical issue for the administration.
Biden stopped in El Paso, Texas, in January 2023 en route to meet Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
In an unusual political shift, Biden has adopted a tougher stance on border issues, emphasizing the need for stricter border restrictions and blaming congressional Republicans for failing to pass the bipartisan border deal.
This change in rhetoric aims to turn an issue historically detrimental to Democrats into a potential win in his reelection bid for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
As per the White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, during his visit, the president will "reiterate his calls for congressional Republicans to stop playing politics and to provide the funding needed for additional US Border Patrol agents, more asylum officers, fentanyl detection technology and more."
Trump campaign calls Joe Biden's border visit an 'opportunistic' move
Biden's efforts to reshape the narrative around border security have drawn criticism from Trump's camp. Karoline Leavitt, the national press secretary for the Trump campaign, dismissed Biden's visit as a "last-minute, insincere attempt to chase President Trump to the border."
She added, "Americans know Biden is single-handedly responsible for the worst immigration crisis in history."
On Thursday, Trump is set to visit Eagle Pass, Texas, which is about 325 miles (523 km) away from Brownsville.

A person said, "President Biden could end world hunger and find a cure for cancer and Hannity would still disrespect & disparage him," while someone else opined, "None of these people are even remotely serious. It's all an act."
