During her appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' on January 6, 2025, Hoda Kotb opened up about her plans following her exit from 'Today' after Kelly Clarkson playfully pressed her for details about the future. 

Clarkson joked, “I have to say though, ma'am, as soon as they told me you were not doing The Today Show, I was like, so what's that b***ch doing? Cause she ain't...I was like, because there's no way you're not doing anything. You're me, you like problems, you like working." 

Kotb responded, "I like things, I do. So I kind of got hooked in the wellness space, like a couple of years ago. I started doing stuff that I thought seemed woo-woo and weird, and then all of a sudden as I was doing it, I was like, wait, I feel calmer, I feel better. Woo woo makes you feel good." 

Kotb went on to share details of her exciting new venture, saying, “So I am starting a wellness app and company that will involve retreats and a podcast and all kinds of things that we can get together, do things that I love." 

She added, “And when you are done, it's not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you'll go like, oh my gosh, I feel transformed. I feel different. So I'm in the building process of that.”

Kelly Clarkson excitedly praises Hoda Kotb’s idea

After hearing about Hoda Kotb’s exciting plans, Clarkson enthusiastically praised her idea, calling it, "healthy too, to be the voice for that, and like community, build a community for that."

Clarkson shared, "A lot of us need to be better at that, 'cause we're—I'm a go, go, go, go. We exhaust ourselves, and we're not good at knowing how to be still or slow down." 

Kotb shared that her new project would be launching, "in the Spring", and promised to fill Clarkson in when the time came. In response, Clarkson playfully remarked, "Don’t tell me about it, invite me." Kotb responded confidently, "Oh, you’re coming. okay."
