Understandably, Prince William and Prince Harry have many celebrity admirers given their access to castles and expensive jewelry and the prestige of coming from a family that has ruled England for hundreds of years. Both princes are already taken, which is unfortunate for famous royalists who would love to have a coat of arms and have the royal family lend them tiaras. Here is a list of famous Hollywood celebrities who have once admitted being smitten by Prince William and Prince Harry.

1. Hilary Duff

'Lizzie McGuire' star Hilary Duff was unaware of how much she fancied Prince Harry until she appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in 2016. Duff took part in a game hosted by Ellen DeGeneres where she was handed two pictures of famous men. When given the option to select a guy to date, Duff selected Prince Harry over musicians Harry Styles, Nick Jonas, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Colin Farrell.

When American pop queen Katy Perry and British singer Cheryl Cole co-starred on 'The Graham Norton Show' in 2012, they discovered how much they both admired Prince Harry. Perry gushed, "He's a hot ginger, isn't he?" after refuting a rumor that the monarch had asked her to perform at the Queen's Jubilee. The 'Hot n Cold' singer further joked, "Get off my man!" after realizing that Cole also had feelings for Harry.

'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson admitted to having a "little bit" of a crush on Prince William during her 2001 appearance on 'Live with Regis and Kelly'. William was called a "dude" by Regis Philbin during their conversation, which made Watson counter, "He's not really a dude. Brad Pitt's a dude, but William is pretty." Watson finally met her crush in 2014 when she accepted the Prince of Wales' dinner invitation to Windsor Castle to support the Royal Marsden Hospital.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' actress Rita Ora seemed overly envious when talking about her crush on a royal during a 2016 appearance on 'The Wendy Williams Show.' In 2018, Ora revealed that she was still smitten with Harry when she appeared on 'The Tonight Show'. She and the monarch ultimately became friends through their mutual charitable endeavor. In 2019, Ora said to Marie Claire UK, "I'm always surprised how much he remembers about the other conversations we've had."

Long before Miranda Kerr strutted the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show catwalk in a crown encrusted with pink and red gems, she had her eyes on the man who would one day get to sport the real thing on his head. In a 2009 interview with Fox News, Kerr admitted, "I've always had a big crush on Prince William since I was a little girl."

In 2012, Emmy Rossum admitted in a 'Conan' appearance that she had written fanfiction about Prince Harry in her diary when she was younger. "I like a ginger," Rossum said, claiming Harry was her husband in her stories. The 'Shameless' actress revealed to Daily Mail that she wished to meet her crush. "I'm not saying I want to marry him, but he's more than welcome to invite me out on a date," she stated.

Paris Hilton declared in 2004 that she would gladly trade her ordinary existence for a life fit for a princess, provided she could find the confidence to approach Prince William. She told The Sun, "I think Prince William is hot," per Digital Spy. The reality personality claimed that her shyness prevented her from approaching William at the time, but in 2008, she was seen sitting next to him at a London lounge. Hilton and the prince were reportedly seen exchanging numbers, per a Mirror source.

Adele admitted in a 2011 Glamour interview that she was willing to breach one of her dating rules for Prince Harry because she thought he was so stunning. "I'm after Prince Harry. I know I said I wouldn't go out with a ginger, but it's Prince Harry!" she said. Though it appears that Adele was drawn to the title that comes with being married to a royal, the 'Rolling in the Deep' singer was content to settle for only one date. "I'd love a night out with him, he seems like a right laugh," she said.

Cheryl Cole and singer Liam Payne have a son together, but at one point, Cheryl expressed concern that she was too old for Prince Harry, who is nine years older than the former One Direction member. "He's cool. Although, I think I would be Cougar Ville in that relationship," she said in a 2012 British GQ interview. The singer is, however, only one year older than the royal. Cole was infatuated with Harry to the point where he became her dream partner. She revealed to Marie Claire, "I had a dream last night that I married him and was a real-life princess."

In a 2012 episode of the 'Today' show, Hoda Kotb admitted that she was crushing on Prince Harry, per NBC News. She brought up the subject when talking with her former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford about a video of Harry dancing in Jamaica. "Would you say that one of your fantasies is to actually dance with Prince Harry?" Gifford queried. Kotb answered, "Yes!" with great enthusiasm. Eventually, Kotb's dream came true 10 years later when she was granted an exclusive interview with Prince Harry for 'Today' in 2022.
