'Home Alone' actor Devin Ratray’s domestic violence trial postponed after he's hospitalized in 'critical condition'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Home Alone' actor Devin Ratray’s alleged health scare has hampered his domestic violence trial.

TMZ reported that Ratray was admitted to the hospital "in critical condition."

Citing the 'Home Alone' star’s family member, the publication stated that though he has now been discharged, he is still recovering at home. However, there has been no further elaboration on what exactly happened to Ratray or what landed him in the hospital.

The domestic violence case against him was about to begin this week in an Oklahoma courtroom but because of his health, it has been shifted to February.

Devin Ratray accused of violently attacking ex-girlfriend

RatRay allegedly beat and strangulated his former girlfriend in December 2021 inside a hotel room at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City after having a drinking session.

The ex-pair was in the city for an event, which Ratray reportedly was not interested in but attended it for money.

His former girlfriend reportedly testified, “Devin ... doesn't want to be known for something he did 30 years ago. It was (a) point of contention for him his whole life and it's something that I dealt with a lot when we were dating and that's why he'd never done these cons before because he didn't want to promote that he was in 'Home Alone.’”

“He was annoyed to be there and be seen as 'Buzz' anyway,” she added.

An affidavit alleged, as per Daily Mail, “The victim had trouble breathing while she was being strangled and while the defendant’s hand was over her mouth.”

"While strangling the victim, defendant stated the following: 'This is how you die,'" the court affidavit added.

Following the reported violent episode, he was charged with felony domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and misdemeanor domestic assault, and battery.

Ratray also reportedly “turned himself in and was processed through and bonded out.”

Devin Ratray allegedly raped a woman years ago

This came after another report said Ratray has been accused of rape too. The victim named Lisa Smith alleged that she was sexually assaulted by the ‘Dennis the Menace’ actor in September 2017.

She also accused Ratray of drugging her before the rape. Smith claimed, as per CNN, “I remember waking up and I couldn’t move. I couldn’t really open my eyes, but I could hear what was happening and I could feel what was happening.”
