'How I Met Your Mother', which premiered in September 2005, follows Josh Radnor's character, Ted Mosby, narrating to his two adolescent children how he met their mother. Radnor shared the screen with Neil Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson), Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky), Jason Segel (Marshall Eriksen), and Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin). The sitcom, which ran for nine seasons, is known for its unusual structure and use of flashbacks to tell the stories of its characters.
