'How I Met Your Mother' star Josh Radnor marries Jordana Jacobs in 'snowy bliss-filled' wedding
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Congratulations are in order for Josh Radnor for his recent marriage. The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star recently married Jordana Jacobs at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York, in a “snowy bliss-filled weekend.”
Taking to Instagram, the 49-year-old star shared a series of photos from their wintry fairytale wedding and added a caption where he revealed the news.
Josh Radnor announces he is a married man now
On Friday, January 19, Radnor took to his social media to write, “I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard. It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend.”
He continued to thank the guests who traveled to Cedar Lakes to participate in the wedding festivities, “So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. To @forgedinthenorth for the extraordinary pictures.”

However, he saved the best praises for his wife, as he wrote, “But most of all to Jordana. I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”
Among the images, there are several images of the couple including one where the newlyweds can be seen kissing in a snowy background.
How did Josh Radnor meet his wife?
In an interview with the New York Times, the ‘Hunters’ star revealed that he and Jordana met at a sound meditation retreat in February 2022. Radnor recounted that a voice told him in his mind, “That’s her, . . ., That’s your woman.”
He shared that he and Jordana started communicating through calling and texting immediately after coming back from the retreat.
Radnor said, “We were constantly in touch, sharing things we had written and things we had made,” before adding, “Thoughts, feelings, insights.”
The couple even wrote their own vows. Per People, Radnor even confessed why he believed he had not been married before.
Per the outlet, he said, “I look into the infinity of your green eyes, I know that my not having gotten married until now was not due to some brokenness in me,” and added, “The truth is, I didn’t get married until now because I was waiting for you.”
In November 2023, he shared his wedding plans with his audience during a sold-out NYC tour stop.
After playing the song ‘Brooklyn Girl’, the actor and singer shared that he wrote the song after meeting his fiancee at his friend’s “psychedelic” event. He announced then, “In an unexpected twist, we’re getting married.”
