Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda reminisced about ‘good old days’ before his death at 71

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Linda Hogan knew what was coming when she reflected on her relationship with her ex, Hulk Hogan, just days before his sudden death on Thursday, July 24. 

The former couple were married for 26 years before separating in 2009. Her quiet tribute came only four days ahead of the WWE legend's death at the age of 71.

Linda and Hulk Hogan, who share two children: Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan, got divorced in 2009, but the emotional toll of their separation remains.

Speaking in a video on Instagram Stories posted in March, Linda shared, “I'm okay with most things, but today, something hit. It's been 15 or longer years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is in the worst mess.”

The former 'Hogan Knows Best' star also opened up about her strained relationship with her daughter Brooke, who shares twins with hockey player Steven Oleksy. “Brooke doesn't talk to us,” Linda said.

“She's had twins. She got married, she didn't tell us… She had a huge fight with Terry. I don't know how that reflected onto me, but she cut me out too.”

Explaining her decision to publicly discuss the family issues, Linda added, “I have to be honest about what I went through in my marriage with Terry as Hulk Hogan,” she continued, “and what it entailed, and what it has caused over the years.”

Brooke Hogan skipped Hulk Hogan’s wedding to Sky Daily

In 2023, Hulk Hogan married Sky Daily after ending his marriage to Jennifer McDaniel in 2022. While his son Nick Hogan was present at the ceremony, Brooke was not.

“For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family,” Brooke wrote on Instagram at the time.

“As we all experience this with our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years," she said.

Brooks, who had not spoken to Hogan, according to TMZ, feels lucky and grateful she got to say "I love you" during their last conversation, and she feels at peace knowing she did everything she could to protect and support him.

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died on July 24 at his Clearwater, Florida home. Authorities confirmed the emergency call was for "cardiac arrest."

Clearwater Fire and Rescue responded, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Soon after Hulk Hogan's death, fans offered support to Linda Hogan in the comments section of her post.
