WASHINGTON, DC: In what can be termed as an esclatory step to the long-running tensions between the Biden and Trump families, former President Joe Biden’s son has challenged Eric Trump and Donald Jr Trump to a cage fight.
Hunter Biden shared a video clip on Thursday, April 9, making a strange challenge. Hunter said he will participate in the fight, whether Trump siblings accept the challenge or not.
Hunter said that he received a call from Andrew Callaghan, a filmmaker and content creator, who said that he was attempting to organize a fight against the Trump brothers.
"I think he's trying to organize a cage match, me versus Eric and Don Jr," Biden said on social media about Callaghan's efforts. "I told him I'd do it, 100% in, if he can pull it off."
Hunter Biden made comments ‘in jest’, says Andrew Callaghan
While Hunter said Andrew proposed the idea of a fight between Hunter and Trump brothers, responding to the query of USA Today over email, Andrew said Hunter commented "in jest", but he would be "more than happy to facilitate" the cage fight if Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump are "willing to engage Hunter in mutual combat."
Biden agreed to take part after a social media personality, Andrew Callaghan, approached him and proposed the event. Biden said that he will take part in the event, whether or not the Trump sibling confirms participating.
In a video shared on Callaghan’s Callaghan's Channel 5 Instagram, Biden said, “I told him I'd do it — 100% in if he can pull it off. And if he can't, I'm still coming.”
Andrew had invited Hunter to the Channel 5 Carnival Tour supposed to be held at the end of the month. The “C5 Carnival” will be held in Phoenix, San Diego, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Hunter Biden has appeared on Andrew Callaghan’s Channel 5 with the Andrew Callaghan YouTube show multiple times since Joe Biden left the White House.
Melania Trump threatened to sue Hunter over Epstein claim
During an interview with Andrew on Channel 5, Hunter had claimed that Melania was introduced to Trump by disgraced financier Epstein.
Later, Melania Trump in 2025 threatened to sue Hunter over the claim, calling it “inflammatory”.
"Epstein introduced Melania to Trump; the connections are so wide and deep," Hunter Biden said at the time. The first lady described the claim as "false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory" in a legal notice.
