WILMINGTON, DELWARE: Hunter Biden's gun trial saw key witnesses from his past take the stand at the Delaware courthouse, one among which was her ex-wife, Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle.

Buhle and Biden married in 1993 and divorced in 2017. She testified about finding drugs in Biden's car on multiple occasions, even in 2018.

Kathleen Buhle found Hunter Biden's 'crack pipe' at home in 2015

Buhle testified that she first learned of her ex-husband Biden's drug use in July 2015. But she was already “worried” and “scared” about his possible drug use due to his 2014 exit from the Navy, because "he tested positive for cocaine."

"I found a crack pipe ... on an ashtray on the side porch of our home," Buhle testified.

"I went looking for my husband and asked him what it was and he said it was a crack pipe,” she said further, reported Washington Post.

After this, she said her husband moved out of their Washington, DC home.

“He moved out, really, after I found the crack pipe," she said, but only considered them separated “after I found out about the infidelity.”

Kathleen Buhle says Hunter Biden was using drugs in 2018

Buhle reportedly testified about finding drugs in Biden’s car about a dozen times, including in 2018. She, however, never saw him once doing the drugs, as per her testimonial.

Buhle said that their daughters would sometimes borrow their father’s car in the period from 2015 to 2019.

“When my daughters would use his car, I would check the car to make sure they weren’t driving a car with drugs in it,” Buhle testified.

She said “he was angry, short tempered” and tried to hide his drug use from family and friends.

Buhle got to know about his drug addiction when she found the crack pipe. "He told me when I found the pipe what it was for."

But under the cross-examination, she testified, "I don’t recall the exact days," when she found drugs in Biden's car.

Internet wonders about Hunter Biden's prison time

The Internet debated if Biden could avoid jail for being a drug addict. Some suggested he was guilty while others said he'll get off.

"How can Hunter possibly avoid jail in this case? He is so clearly guilty," wrote one on X (formerly Twitter).

"The sympathy card. The drug addict can't be held accountable. He'll get off privileged," wrote another user.

Pointing to his past drug problems, one user wrote, "Hunter 'Bagman' Biden should spend the rest of his life in prison. But will he?"

"If he's [found] not guilty because he's a druggy, then every druggy committing crimes in the U.S. can use the exact same claim," remarked another.

"It’s so crazy how there was coke found at the White House twice and then you never heard anything again about it," one user noted about cocaine powder found in the White House last year.
