Renee Graziano says she was 'dead' while narrating the terrifying ordeal of a Fentanyl overdose
"I died in a restaurant in Florida. I was dead, intubated for three days. No one in my family came to the hospital and I spent nine days there learning how to walk again," shared Renee, adding, "That was it for me," as per TMZ.
The reality TV personality attributed her overdose to a culmination of personal struggles, including the death of her father, Anthony Graziano, in May 2019.
"I couldn't come up for air. Nobody wanted to talk to me. Everything just started piling up and piling up and piling up. I gave up," revealed Renee, shedding light on her emotional state leading up to the overdose.
Adding to the heart-wrenching narrative, she expressed disappointment at her family's absence during her hospitalization, acknowledging the strain her struggles placed on her loved ones.
Renee recounted, "They said I wasn't going to make it and they just didn't want to do it. And I don't blame them. I don't. I put them through hell."
Following her near-fatal overdose, the 'Celebrity Big Brother' star sought help and checked into a Texas rehab facility in November 2023, according to TMZ. Additionally, she sought assistance from Lamar Odom's Odom Recovery Group as part of her journey towards recovery.
