LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former fashion model Kimora Lee Simmons became extremely protective of a parent when asked how Sean 'Diddy' Combs' 17-year-old twin daughters—Jessie James and D'Lila Star—are adjusting to the raids on their famous father's house concerning sex trafficking complaints.

Kimora's name first surfaced in relation to Diddy months ago; in a now-resurfaced interview from 2004, where she claimed Diddy had threatened to hit her when she was pregnant. She later admitted that Diddy did not hit her and expressed regret.

Kimora Lee Simmons asserts Sean Diddy's twins are 'great'

Kimora and Diddy had a troubled history because she was close friends with the troubled rapper's late ex, Kim Porter, who gave birth to two of his children before passing away unexpectedly in 2018 at the age of 47.

However, Kimora stated that she has Jessie and D'Lila's back, regardless of how she feels about the 54-year-old Bad Boy Records tycoon, per Radar Online.

Questioned about how the twins have been handling the family strife, the 49-year-old model-turned-fashion designer said they are "being fabulous" and doing "great."

"I love them so much, and I have their back," she said in the footage obtained by TMZ.

Kimora appeared to be rather close to the teenagers, as seen by her admission that she manages their animals and that her kids treat them more like sisters.

"They're just beautiful and I love them so much," Kimora said, before continuing, "and I have their back always and forever." She chuckled hesitantly and dismissed questions about the litigation, sexual assault allegations, and FBI raid against Diddy.

Kimora further contended, "No, no. I don't know about all that," before adding, "That's a lot. I only know my kids."

Kimora Lee Simmons' interview claims resurfaced amid Diddy's ongoing abuse lawsuit

In the aftermath of Cassie Ventura's assault lawsuit against music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, a 2004 interview featuring American business figure Kimora Lee Simmons came to light.

On November 16, 2023, Cassie submitted a motion to the federal court in New York, alleging that over their ten-year relationship, Diddy had repeatedly subjected her to physical abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, and sexual battery.

Amid these accusations against Diddy, online users unearthed a 2004 New York Magazine feature on Kimora in which a record executive stated that the rapper had threatened to punch her after she said something to him before.

The record industry executive stated in the feature, "There was a nasty cloudburst when Kimora said something to Combs and he threatened to hit her." The Baby Phat founder added, "And I was pregnant! The moron!

The story further mentioned that Diddy eventually got down on his knees and apologized to Kimora in public. It remained unclear what specifically sparked the two's reported outburst, and the rapper remained silent about the event as well.

Kimora—who was married to Def Jam Recordings founder Russell Simmons at the time—later mentioned Diddy in the article and said: "I respect him for being a fierce entrepreneur. And I appreciate knowing that everything he does is emulating my husband."
