NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rapper Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, is once again in the spotlight - not for her chart-topping hits but for a heated feud with former friend and opening act Cleotrapa.

The drama unfolded online as Cleotrapa alleged through six different TikTok videos that Ice Spice, 24, was using Ozempic, a weight loss drug that has become popular among celebrities; this comes after Ice Spice’s slimmed-down appearance sparked speculation and rumors, which she had already clarified.

Cleotrapa fuels feud with Ice Spice over weight comments

The feud intensified when Cleotrapa took to Twitter, seemingly referencing Ice Spice's past weight and alleged use of Ozempic.

"Imagine being called big by someone that was just big. I'm going to bed bro ozempic got yall gassed & fatphobic now? BET," Cleotrapa tweeted.

The jab followed Ice Spice’s description of her appetite as a "vacuum," during a heated exchange between the two.

Cleotrapa, who had joined Ice Spice’s Y2K tour as an opening act, aired her grievances across six TikTok videos.

Among her complaints was an alleged incident where she was denied a chicken salad by the tour's production team.

"The hairstylist shows me a menu and stuff and is like, 'Oh production, whatever, they're gonna order food for everybody, pick what you want.' I was like, 'Okay, I'm getting the chicken salad just like you'... Then she shows me a message where somebody from production is like, 'Cleo is not a part of the budget.'"

Feeling snubbed, Cleotrapa questioned why she was not considered part of the budget despite being invited on tour.

But this was only the tip of the iceberg; Ice Spice reportedly hit back on X Space, calling Cleotrapa's outburst a pattern she’s observed in fame.

"Crashing out is sad you guys," Ice Spice lamented.

"The scary part of fame honestly is the moment that somebody feels like they can no longer use your platform or like they’re not getting exactly what they want out of a situation the way that they want it... that’s when they decide to crash out every single time."

Ice Spice claims she was 'just trying to help' Cleotrapa

According to Daily Mail, Ice Spice explained that she had extended an invitation to Cleotrapa to join her on tour in a genuine effort to help.

"This s** is sad because I genuinely was trying to help her. I'm like 'Yo, do you want to just come on this tour?'" Ice Spice said, revealing that she had arranged for an extra bus to accommodate Cleotrapa.

"That's what the f**k I get for trying to be a good person," she expressed in frustration.

In response to Cleotrapa’s chicken salad debacle, Ice Spice maintained that many details were left out of the narrative, insisting that the tour had been fun despite the current fallout.

"You're gon' send me a whole essay after tour, like you just gon' just get off the bus. I don't even know you got off the bus and you gon' send me an essay with an intro, bodies, and conclusion and you want me to try to analyze this s**t and figure out how I'm wrong when all I did was share my stage with you?"

Cleotrapa’s "vacuum" remark, accusing Ice Spice of indulging at an Italian restaurant, also drew fire.

"Bch, you not going to tell the people how we was at an Italian restaurant and you ate so much fking food, you f**king vacuum, that the server was like, 'Where did the food go?'" Ice Spice recounted, mocking Cleotrapa's criticism.

Despite the ongoing drama, Ice Spice has firmly denied the Ozempic rumors.

Responding to fan speculation about her noticeably slimmer physique, she took to X Spaces to clear the air: "I actually came on here to talk about that real quick. Cuz I was like, b****, I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic. That's one thing I wish."

She further emphasized that her weight loss is due to her rigorous training and touring schedule. "Oh my God! Like what even is Ozempic? What the f**k is that? Genuinely, what is that?" she questioned, dismissing any connection to the drug.

Doubling down, Ice Spice called out critics who jumped to conclusions about her fitness: "Like, you lazy bes never heard of the gym? It's called the gym, it's called eating healthy, it's called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all fing day, it'll be easier to stay big."

She continued to debunk the speculation on August 31 by posting a video of her gym routine, captioned: "We beatin them allegations bae," as her song "BB Belt" played in the background.
