Iga Swiatek admits she 'cried many times' after receiving a handwritten letter from Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift's fanbase is spread all over the world and her fans come from different walks of life. The ‘Karma’ crooner reached out to Tennis star Iga Swiatek who recently lifted the French Open in Paris and congratulated her.

The Polish star shared a tweet about the personal letter she received from Swift and immediately got emotional over it.

“I’m dead. Yes, I cried many times during the show. Yes, it was incredible. You are amazing @taylorswift13,” Swiatek captioned her social media post on Friday, June 14.

The player also shared a clip of dancing along to Swift’s hits on her Instagram Stories. “...No match dance,” she wrote alongside a couple of smiling emojis.

Swiatek is fresh from her victory over Italy’s Jasmine Paolini on June 8, winning the final in straight sets. 

She also created by becoming the second woman to win three consecutive French Open grand slams.

Moreover, she is also the youngest woman tennis player to hold four titles at the age of 23, reports People.

"It’s amazing to be here, I love this place, honestly. I wait every year to come back here," Swiatek said during the awards presentation on Court Philippe Chatrier, according to Fox News.
