Kesha unveils anticipation for upcoming 'new music' release amid 'Gag Order' success
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kesha made a surprise announcement, and chose a casual way to do it!
The singer was at 7-Eleven in Los Angeles and showed up displaying a cardboard sign reading "NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!" in the parking lot.
Kesha's update on her next album comes with the ending of her ties with all labels
Kesha ended her collaboration with record labels Kemosabe and RCA Records. She also ended her terms with Vector Management after the end of her legal battle with producer Lukasz ‘Dr Luke’ Gottwald in June.
In a recent video, she was captured interacting with a fan, declaring, "I'm free, I can do what I want!"
Reports suggest that the TikTok personality has been actively creating new content, showcasing glimpses of her recording studio sessions through multiple photos and videos on her social media platform.
The Grammy-nominated artist and Gottwald, who takes care of Kemosabe label, 50, agreed to resolve his defamation lawsuit out of court ahead of its scheduled trial.
The resolution signified the conclusion of a decade-long court case where she had filed a lawsuit against the producer, alleging sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.
Following the public settlement, both parties issued statements. Kesha mentioned that she "cannot recount" the details of the alleged sexual abuse she experienced at the hands of Gottwald. Meanwhile, he expressed his well-wishes for her and maintained his denial of the accusation.

What is Kesha's 'Gag Order' album about?
Kesha released her latest album in May 2023, ‘Gag Order,’ focussing on her struggles lately.
"I really feel like this album gave the complete view of who I am to my animals, to my fans, to the listener. I really have this feeling of peace, and I feel complete," she told People in June.
"I know Gag Order is a more emotional journey, perhaps, than some of my other albums, but I think as a whole body of work, I feel so satisfied with what people can see as me talking about who I am," continued Kesha at the time.
