LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jason Momoa revealed that he is not bothered about not owning a home as of now. The 'Aquaman' star disclosed to People about his housing situation and revealed that he hardly got any time to settle down while “going movie to movie.”

“I'm just houseless. I'm not homeless,” Momoa joked to the outlet at an event for the documentary Common Ground at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, January 11. “I have a nice trailer,” he explained, adding “Everyone's like, ‘Jason Momoa's homeless.’ I'm like, ‘Relax. I got a f*****g sleeping bag.’"

Jason Momoa is 'doing fine' despite being on the road all the time

The 44-year-old Hollywood star whose separation from actress Lisa Bonet was finalized earlier this month, previously told Entertainment Tonight, that he didn’t have a home after their split. However, he said that despite being “on the road all the time,” he’s “doing fine.” He’s also booked and busy with films at the moment, but hopes to “slow down” eventually.

“I've never bought a house yet, so I'm excited to one day,” he admitted to the outlet.

The 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' star added that people will probably be amazed when they find out he actually purchased a house. "Like ‘Jason Momoa bought a home. Holy s**t. He's got a pillow now," he said. However, as of now, Momoa is enjoying his stardom and is traveling around the globe to work on different film projects.

“I grew up not working that much,” said Momoa, who shot to fame after starring in 'Game of Thrones' in 2011. “When the kids were young, it's just hard getting jobs,” he added, referencing daughter Lola Iolani, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15, whom he shares with Bonet.

“Now that you're working, you're like, ‘Oh, I grew up in the Midwest, man.’ I just work and work and it feels weird not to work,” he continued. “And if you do what you love, then you're like, ‘This is not work. I'm helping out with the movies that I really love,’” he further revealed.

Jason Momoa revealed he previously struggled to pay bills

The actor previously revealed in an interview with InStyle in November 2020 that he faced financial hardship following his appearance on 'Game of Thrones' and that he struggled to pay the bills on the Los Angeles home he shared with Bonet.

"I mean, we were starving after 'Game of Thrones'," he recalled, adding "I couldn’t get work. It’s very challenging when you have babies and you're completely in debt."

He said that things turned out to be better after he was cast as Aquaman in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' years later, which spun off several other roles. He also nabbed a starring role in 'Dune' alongside Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem. “I’m just like, 'Oh my God. I can’t believe my name was with those names,'" he said after the trailer came out. "I feel like I’m still a kid, freaking out," he added.
