NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jenna Bush Hager made an honest confession during her recent episode on ‘Today with Hoda & Jenna.’

The 42-year-old admitted that she and her twin sister Barbara struggled with their driving skills.

“My first year of driving, I had a little impulse control issues. My brain developed a little later. So I would just put it on, get in the car, speed back, without ever looking back,” Bush Hager admitted on Thursday, February 8.

“So Barbara and I — and I’m not 100% sure this is the perfect number — but I’m pretty sure the two of us together got in 13 accidents,” she added.

Was Jenna involved in any serious accidents while driving?

Jenna disclosed that these incidents primarily involved "minor fender benders," with some not even necessitating repairs. She candidly admitted to the audience, "I'm not the best driver."

When asked whether it improved over the years by guest host Willie Geist, Jenna replied, “I got in one total wreck in my one driveway of late.”

Geist spilled some beans of her own driving experience from the past, “Wet leaves, fall, maybe I was going a little too fast — but not crazy, because we didn’t get hurt. But I skidded and we totaled my mom’s car… into a tree,” he shared one high school incident.

Who taught driving to Jenna?

This reminded Jenna about driving on an "icy" Texas road, “I had never heard of black ice. I didn’t know what would happen. I hit it, I was going a little too fast too, and spun into a tree too. But I wasn’t injured, we’re fine.”

In October, she shared that her parents never taught her to drive, and she learned from the Department of Public Safety, per People.

“My parents weren’t allowed to drive at that stage. You would think I would be an excellent driver," Jenna told Kotb on the show, reminding that her father was the governor of Texas back then.

“I went to driver’s ed,” she continued. “Some boy threw me in the dumpster. Like, we were flirting, you know?"
