'In for a rude awakening': Internet turns on Megyn Kelly after she calls for boycott of Taylor Swift
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly has found herself in the line of fire of "Swifties" after she called for Taylor Swift to be boycotted in a recent episode of 'The Megyn Kelly Show.'
According to Billboard, Kelly made her remarks about the Grammy winner after she was seen attending a fundraiser event by stand-up comedian Ramy Youssef in Brooklyn.
As part of the 'More Feelings' tour, the audience for the event included celebrities like Selena Gomez, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Kravitz, and Cara Delevingne.
Reportedly, the proceeds from the event were donated to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), a non-governmental organization that offers humanitarian and development assistance to the Gaza Strip.
What did Megyn Kelly say against Taylor Swift?
Kelly expressed that Swift "owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology" for attending the event, stating, "I hope they boycott her events until she issues it because attending this thing was wrong."

She added, “Taylor Swift, who has been out there tweeting about her support for the LGBTQ community, you know what they do to that community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?"
Kelly went on to say, "Who’s talked about her support for women, (and) her opposition to certain Republican lawmakers who don’t support women in the way Taylor sees fit. You know what they do to women? You know what Hamas likes to do to women? You think we have equal rights over there, Taylor?”
"You clearly know nothing," she concluded.
