LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Influencer Dominique Brown, widely known as HellooDomo on Instagram, died at the age of 34 due to a severe allergic reaction during a BoxLunch event on December 5.

Attendees at the event reported that Brown unknowingly consumed food containing an allergen, which was allegedly unmarked and incorrectly identified as safe, according to Daily Mail.

The user further alleged that when Brown requested to be taken to the hospital, others prioritized taking photos over providing assistance.

“She was my mom’s best friend of 10 years. She asked if there were peanuts in the food, and everyone told her no," the user wrote.

"When she instantly felt bad, she asked someone to take her to the hospital, [but] everyone said no and to take pictures first. So sad,” the user added.

The exact location of the event remains undisclosed, and BoxLunch’s parent company, Hot Topic, has yet to comment on the incident.
