LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stand-up comedian Nathaniel Stroman, well known as Earthquake, 60, has addressed allegations made by Katt Williams in his Club Shay Shay interview.

In the widely circulated interview, the 52-year-old comedian and actor reportedly claimed that Stroman is unable to read or write.

In a conversation with The Breakfast Club, Stroman expressed that, as far as he was aware, he and Williams were on friendly terms when the interview took place. This left him perplexed by the comic's derogatory remark.

What did comedian Earthquake say about Kate Williams?

"Personally speaking, me and him was cool, so I didn't know where that came from. Certain things he said about me, half was true, half was a lie. But to each his own," said Earthquake

"I don't even get into that part of it because, see, I'm the type of person [where] if I have a problem with you, Charlamagne, I'ma call you."

"We're either gonna talk it out, we’re gonna duke it out, but we're gonna handle it man-to-man."

"I don't talk behind people's backs and that's what social media is: if you go onto a platform and talk about a person without you addressing them yourself when you have opportunities to get in contact with them and let it be known."

He then categorically refuted Williams' assertion that he is illiterate, pointing to his experience in radio as proof.

"First of all, its a lie….I used to [do radio at WBLS]. Everybody in radio wants to be like y’all and be syndicated."

"But if you're not syndicated and you just got one godd**ned station, [the] only way you get some money [is] off live reads!"

He further mentioned his membership in Upward Bound, an educational initiative that enables high school students to enroll in college preparatory courses.

"He proved Katt Williams was right!!! And he still didn't simply pick up any kind of paper & read anything 🤣🤣🤣" noted another.

Another user quipped, "But can he READ?? GIVE HIM A BOOK😂😂 "
