LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Doja Cat refuted claims that she was disparaging fellow musician Cardi B amid the song leaks from her upcoming album 'Scarlet 2'.

Several fans speculated that the 28-year-old 'Say So' hitmaker might have taken a jab at Cardi, 31, on the song 'Acknowledge Me,' after tracks from the album were leaked online a few days before the official release.

Doja Cat asks troll to 'get a f***in life'

In response to fans who speculated about a possible jab at Cardi in the song 'Acknowledge Me,' Doja went on an intense rant on platform X (formerly Twitter), telling followers to "get a f***in life."

The rapper then clarified that Carly Rae Jepsen, a Canadian pop diva, is the celebrity name used in the song's verse and that she raps as 'Carly Rae' instead of 'Cardi B,' per Daily Mail.

The rapper remained unaffected, emphasizing that the leaks would not affect the quality of her music. "But it doesn't make the music sound better or worse so why does it matter?" she remarked.

In another lighthearted post on X, Doja declared that Pitbull, Chingy, and Baby Bash are currently the "big three" in the rap genre.

The unusual X posts follow Doja's (real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) sly Instagram show on Tuesday, April 2, promoting her new music.

Soon after she shared the stunning picture, she announced on her personal Instagram page that her upcoming album 'Scarlet 2 Claude' would be available on Friday, April 5.

'Scarlet 2 Claude' is an enhanced version of Doja's fourth studio album 'Scarlet', which was released in September 2023 to an enthusiastic reception from her fan base.

The popular singles 'Attention' and 'Paint The Town Red,' which both cracked the top 40, were part of the original Scarlet album.

Doja Cat previously denied rumors of dissing Cardi B on Scarlet

Doja Cat made it clear in an earlier Instagram Stories post that she disregards online critics and saves her regard for musicians like Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.

She also made sure to state that she would never, ever criticize other artists on a song, including Cardi B, Nick Minaj, and Megan Thee Stallion.

The 27-year-old claimed that she is genuinely criticizing all of her critics and questioning why she would disparage those who have influenced her.

"I don't diss people i'm inspired by i don't diss people i look up to. i don't diss people who don't harass and attack me every day. Y'ALL DO. SHE doesn't. THEY don't. Y'all are the problem," Doja added at the time.
