‘Resembles pattern of chimp's brain’: Internet calls out Kim Kardashian for flaunting silver sculpture of her brain
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian received backlash after she took to her Instagram Stories to share her special Christmas present.
The 43-year-old socialite revealed to millions of her followers that she was gifted a silver sculpture of her brain by Prenuvo, Daily Mail reported.
'This is like, my actual brain'
As per Prenuvo, it “provide(s) whole body, radiation-free MRI scans in order for our patients to focus on early detection of over 500 cancers and diseases”.
In the social media share posted on Saturday, December 16, Kim said, “So, how cool is this? The Prenuvo people made me a sculpture of my brain. This is like, my actual brain.”

The short video came with a caption that read, “Very cool. Christmas present from @prenuvo.”
‘I'm just so grateful’
In another share, the mother-of-four explained, “This is a full video of my brain on a screen and it explains everything about it,” while showcasing a computer image of her brain.
She added, “And I'm just so grateful. I think it's really cool that the Prenuvo team this, and explains all different parts of your brain. And I have the sculpture.”

However, people online seemed unimpressed with the SKIMS founder’s brain sculpture as an X user tweeted, “Gross in every conceivable way.”
Another user commented, “Very macabre and strange. Also, it resembles the pattern of a chimp's brain than a human's. Those foldings are not random. It is a map and they tell you where to go and cut in a surgery. Quite a dark and bizarre gift. She is not famous for her brain. More for her shamelessness. A bust of her a** would have been better suited.”

‘It was like getting a MRI’
This came months after Kim went for a $2499 full body scan at the Prenuvo.
At the time, she wrote on Instagram, “I recently did this @prenuvo scan and had to tell you all about this life saving machine.”
The TV personality continued, “The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in its earliest stages, before symptoms arise.”

“It was like getting a MRI for an hour with no radiation. It has really saved some of my friends lives and I just wanted to share #NotAnAd,” she added.
Internet slams Kim Kardashian
However, at that time also people disapproved of her stand as a person wrote, “Kim people can’t afford cancer treatment after diagnosis how can they afford preventative care.”
The second one shared, “And here I am trying to get insurance to cover an MRI for my dad who possibly has pancreatic cancer.”
