Internet chimes in with suggestions as Billy Joel on 'a mission' to find lover for ex Christie Brinkley
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billy Joel has reportedly taken the task of finding love for his ex-wife Christie Brinkley.
The former pair were married from 1985 to 1994 and share a daughter — Alexa Ray Joel.
Christie Brinkley was romantically involved with John Mellencamp
Later, Brinkley went on to marry twice and had two more children --- Sailor Brinkley Cook and Jack Paris Brinkley Cook--- and also got divorced before getting into a romantic relationship with John Mellencamp.
However, that did not work out and the two broke up in 2016.

At the time, a spokesperson for the two reportedly shared, “Both the mileage between their homes and their heavy career demands interfered with their ability to maintain the relationship. They vowed to remain best of friends.”
Though some years have passed since the split, the 69-year-old model has not found her right man yet.
‘Christie and Billy have a good relationship’
Joel now has decided to help her as an insider said, as per RadarOnline.com, “Christie and Billy have a good relationship.”
They continued, “She can talk to him about anything, even her love life, which has been dismal of late.”
“She hasn't had any dating prospects and is getting desperate. Still, she refuses to try a dating app or service because she thinks it's beneath her,” the tipster revealed.

However, the insider asserted that the mother-of-three "still believes her Mr Wonderful is out there — and so does Billy!"
The source further stated that “Billy hates seeing Christie alone,” before adding, “He's on a mission to find her a man!”
Another possible reason for Joel to be involved in Brinkley’s love life could be that now the currently single actress is spending too much time at the singer-songwriter and his current wife Alexis Roderick’s house.
A source stated that Brinkley "is wearing out her welcome" but “Billy and Alexis want to have their evenings to themselves, and they've got other friends they'd like to see on their weekend nights.”
