PIERRE, SOUTH DAKOTA: Former President Donald Trump has left a positive review on Amazon for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem's upcoming book, titled ‘No Going Back’ set to be released next month.

Per MeidasTouch, in the book, Governor Noem recounts an incident where she was forced to shoot her 14-month-old Wirehair Pointer, Cricket, in a gravel pit on her ranch whom she described as "untrainable," "less than worthless as a hunting dog," and said she "hated that dog."

What other details of animal killing have been mentioned in Kristi Noem’s book?

Governor Noem recalls how, after killing her dog, she killed her family's goat right away because she had "another unpleasant job that needed to be done."

She claimed that the goat, which hadn't been castrated, smelled "disgusting, musky, rancid," and that it would chase her kids around all day.

Instead of simply washing the goat and having it mended, Noem ended up dragging it to the very pit where she had just killed Cricket, and then she shot the goat as well.

Noem talks about how, after murdering both animals, she discovered very quickly that an appalled construction team had been observing her the entire time.

Soon after, when her daughter got home from school, she enquired, "Hey, where's Cricket?"

What did Donald Trump say in his review of Kristi Noem’s book on Amazon?

Interestingly, the 2024 presumptive GOP nominee, Donald Trump, the only President in the history of the United States who did not have a pet during his term at the White House, left a review of Governor Noem’s upcoming book.

The 77-year-old MAGA strongman entitled the book a "winner" and praised the “fantastic plan” it laid out “to make America great again.”

The South Dakota governor is being considered a top contender to become Donald Trump's vice presidential pick in November.

Initially, people thought that her admission of killing animals would ruin her chances of being selected, but Trump has always been unpredictable.

It seems as if Noem’s story about putting down Cricket might have made her the perfect candidate in the former president's eyes.

Internet lambasted both Donald Trump and Kristi Noem

One X user remarked, "Is she auditioning to be political enemy executioner in chief for the dictator wannabe?"

Another user asked, "Whacking puppies makes America great?"

Another user wrote, "Thank god the trump family didn’t have any pets."

One user claimed, "As if he actually opened the book and read a single page."

Another X user quipped, "How much did this review cost her?"

Another user asked, "And his endorsement should impress who???"

One user tweeted, "VP stakes are over. Tim Scott can go home now. We have a winner."
