Internet splits over Khloe Kardashian's loving gesture towards Kanye West

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's tumultuous relationship

Kim and the father of her four children—North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4—have not had a pleasant relationship, since filing for divorce in February 2021.

After their divorce in November 2022, West was ordered to pay the 43-year-old Skims founder $200,000 per month in child support.

The Grammy Award winner has also expressed his displeasure with their co-parenting arrangement on multiple occasions.

West rapped on a track titled 'True Love' in May 2022, saying, "Wait, when you see the kids? I’ll see y’all tomorrow / Wait, when the sunset? I see y’all tomorrow / Wait, when I pick ‘em up, I feel like they borrowed."

Most recently, he continued to make fun of Kim for their differences over child custody during an outburst in December 2023.

The 'All of the Lights' rapper exclaimed at the time, "I get visitation with my kids — I ain’t get no say so. They’re walking around with soccer players they don’t even f–king know."

Meanwhile, Kim sobbed uncontrollably when talking about how "f–king hard" it was to co-parent with West in a December 2022 interview.

She said on the 'Angie Martinez IRL' podcast at the time, "Co-parenting is hard. It’s really f***ing hard."

Kim revealed that she made an effort to keep her children away from their contentious father. She spoke of her late father Robert Kardashian and said, "I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that."
