Internet divided as Ron DeSantis says Trump won't accept results if he loses in Iowa or New Hampshire
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis predicted that Donald Trump will not accept the results if he loses in Iowa or New Hampshire, as per CBS News.
"He will say it's stolen no matter what. He will try to delegitimize the results," said the Florida Governor.

With the Iowa caucus due on January 15, 2024, and the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary on January 23, 2024, Trump is still dominating the GOP candidates with a clear majority, according to CBS News.
DeSantis has previously blamed the former President for not participating in the GOP debates with other contenders, calling him a "coward."
Ron DeSantis leaves out the 2020 election when citing Donald Trump's claims of stolen victories
DeSantis pointed out instances of Trump refusing to accept failure. Citing Sen Ted Cruz's victory in the 2016 Iowa caucuses, he said that the former President "did that against Ted Cruz in 2016."
The Governor also said Trump did the same when his reality show 'The Apprentice' did not win an Emmy. However, he omitted the 2020 presidential election fraud claim where the former POTUS adamantly stated that Joe Biden won only because he rigged the votes.
"I don't think there's been a single time he's ever been in competition for something, where he didn't get it, where he has accepted [it]," added DeSantis, along with, "I think that that's to be expected, but I don't think people are gonna buy it."
According to CBS, the former President, who is currently indicted with 91 charges, including his attempts to overturn the 2020 election, also refused to accept Hillary Clinton's popular vote win in 2016.
Despite winning the Electoral College, leading to his entry into the Oval Office, Trump complained that he claimed that he "won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally" because there was "serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire, and California."
Donald Trump campaign responds to Ron DeSantis' statement
Responding to DeSantis, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said the Florida Governor "is acting out on his Lincoln Project fantasies and doing his best impression of a Never Trumper by reciting Democrat talking points peddled by Crooked Joe Biden and his campaign."
"When Ron's political career is finished in a few weeks, he can start moonlighting as a Democrat surrogate because he's showing everyone his true colors," added the spokesperson.
Netizens have varying opinions on Ron DeSantis' statement that Donald Trump will try to 'delegitimize the results' of caucuses

One said, "DeSantis finally told the truth!"
Another noted, "Tell us something we don't already know. DeSantis is coming late to the party."
"Omg Ron DeSanctimonious actually said something we can agree with," stated a person.

A user remarked, "He gives a few examples of Trump not accepting the results when he lost in something competitive. But the 2020 election did not come to his mind?"
"Uhhhh. This is hilarious, the hypocrisy is blinding. Love how he couldn’t bring himself to use 2020 as an example and instead referred to The Apprentice. Theyre all deplorables," noted one more.
A netizen expressed, "Note: Ron still won’t say he lost the 2020 election."
