MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: On 'The View', Alyssa Farah Griffin recently expressed that Donald Trump attending the wake of slain NYPD cop Jonathan Diller was "good imagery," but her co-host Whoopi Goldberg seemed to disagree.

The EGOT winner interjected and pointed out that everyone didn't see the ex-POTUS' visit in a positive light.

Whoopi Goldberg disagrees with Alyssa Farah Griffin over Donald Trump

During the 'Hot Topics' segment on 'The View', Griffin, a former Trump aide, noted how the MAGA stronghold might end up losing the upcoming presidential election, citing how his impulsive behavior can alienate undecided moderates and independent voters.

Griffin said, "[W]hat will lose Trump this election? I don’t think it’s abortion, I don’t think it’s the democracy argument. I think it is his rhetoric and lack of impulse control. Because right now voters are kind of tuning it out, but they’re starting to tune in, saying, 'No, we’re in an election cycle.'"

This led Sunny Hostin to ask, "Don’t they like his rhetoric though?"

Griffin replied, "No, most voters, that’s why he lost in 2020. It’s the moderates and independents, not the 30 percent who are never leaving him. Because this past week, he had a brief, good political moment for a Republican."

She elaborated, "He attended a slain NYPD officer’s funeral to juxtapose, you know, what he was framing as Biden hobnobbing with celebrities. Choose what you like there, but for Republicans, it was good imagery," referring to Trump's visit to slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller's wake.

At this point, Goldberg asked, "Really?" to which the former replied, "Yes."

Subsequently, Goldberg shared, "And I’m asking that because I was so offended. Because, you-know-who showed up, whether he was asked or not, this is a man who didn’t care what happened to the officers on January 6th."

Internet reacts to Alyssa Farah Griffin and Whoopi Goldberg's thoughts about Donald Trump attending NYPD cop's wake

One YouTube user said, "For a former president to share that video is below the Office. How can his supporters think this and all his attacks against others is acceptable?"

Another wrote, "It’s almost as if Trump uses people to fight his battles…oh wait," while a person added, "You can hear the panic in the voices."

Someone else remarked, "One man can drive all these hens to insanity I just love watching him living in their heads rent free. The red-headed one loves the man. I think she thinks of him every 3 seconds. The opposite of love is indifference not hate."

"The most ridiculous hosts on the most ridiculous show that has ever been shown on TV," declared an individual.

One more voiced, "They keep treating him with some sort of grace and I’m getting aggravated. When the judges family’s are getting death threats. But the government thinks it’s some sort of joke."
