'Best satire section ever': Internet impressed by Bill Maher's 'Future Headlines: 2023 Edition'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The department of 'Future Headlines' takes its job of reporting the news very seriously, even during the holidays, as Bill Maher, the host of 'Real Time' quipped during his show.
As per Maher, they have created a department that predicts future headlines, saying, "It has become a holiday tradition here even when we're about to have a month off." The show is off for the holidays and will return on January 19, 2024.
Bill Maher reads out 'Future Headlines'
Maher started the 'Future Headlines: Winter 2023 Edition' segment by saying, "We take very seriously our job here which is to tell you the news and give you the headline so even when we're off we, are able to do this with a department we call future headlines."



Some of the future headlines were: 'Lauren Bobbert being caught giving a h**d j*b at Christmas', 'Santa disappointing children', 'Trump claiming to be a dictator', 'Joe Biden's dog biting Hunter Biden's hooker', 'A college president refusing to condemn a group calling for the death of college presidents'.



'Texas charging a fetus as an abortion accomplice', 'A California homeless encampment petitioning to become a state', 'Vivek Ramas Swami revealing himself as a performance artist', 'The Rockefeller Christmas tree watching Rudy Giuliani get drunk', and 'Taylor Swift single again, releasing a new album called f**k Travis Kelce', also made it to the 'Future Headlines' segment.
'You have made a masterpiece'
The December 16 episode was a concoction of clever headlines and was met with appreciative comments from fans.
The comments read, "The best satire section ever, will never not be funny in this unsanitary world. God bless all your best luck next year Bill!"

"You have made a masterpiece!" declared another fan.

"Facebook meme level content. This is just as corny as the Babylon Bee," said one comment.
Another commented, "These were pretty good."

Another wrote, "Hilarious."

Scheduled to be published by Simon & Schuster in June, Maher is revisiting over a decade of his editorials.
The book includes rewrites, reimaginings, and updates, with additional new material addressing the current moment.
