Internet lauds Candace Owens as she raps ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air' theme to prove her Blackness on 'The Breakfast Club’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Controversial political commentator, Candace Owens who is known for her outspoken personality has gone an extra mile to prove her 'blackness'.

 

On Thursday, March 21, several media personalities including Charlamagne, Jess Hilarious and DJ Envy surprised Candace with a pop 'Black quiz' they had compiled. But the proud Republican impressed all of them and even social media users, by a quick answer. The American Pundit rapped much of the opening theme to Will Smith's, 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air'.

What did Candace Owens say? 

While Owens couldn't recall the name of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on 'The Breakfast Club', she was aware of what not to bring to a cookout. Candace insisted throughout the presentation that her opposition was not to Blackness as itself, but rather to Black illiteracy.

She held the community's reverence for celebrities and public schools responsible for people's backwardness.

Her stance on education explains her recent reaction to Ice Spice's 'Fart' hit, where she declared the track single-handedly set American society back a few notches. 

Internet reacts to Candace Owens' response

Several social media users gushed praise over Candace's intelligence and personality. A Facebook user wrote, "Candace is fantastic. Love her critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills. Terrific role model of a successful wife, mother, carer woman, and community leader." 

Another user wrote, "Man Look. Salute to Breakfast club. It could've got wild. They let her speak her truth. Wit out interruptions. It was classy." 

A user wrote, "I mean…she did answer simple questions and tried to remember the lyric, so she did the rap. I'm actually surprised, and

impressed. lol!" 

The next user wrote, "Every kid in a America born before 1997 knows that song foh." 

A user wrote, "She's an amazing representation." Another user said, "Everyone knows that theme lol." The next user said, "Love Candace! She's the best." 

A user wrote, "Love Candace Owens. Anyone who stays true to themselves. Love it." The next user said, "She is awesome! She speaks the truth."  A user even went on saying, "Candace for President. Young and tells it how it should be!" 

While another user opined the same saying, "she would make a great president."
