LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elisabeth Moss, renowned for her portrayal of Polly in the 1999 film 'Girl, Interrupted,' has offered perspectives on the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of the movie, drawing parallels to a high school drama reminiscent of 'Mean Girls.'

During an episode of the podcast 'Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa,' Moss disclosed the existence of a divided set, with Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder each leading their factions.

Moss recounted that a faction led by Angelina Jolie emerged during filming, emanating an intimidating vibe that dissuaded others from attempting to integrate.

Despite the allure, Moss chose to align herself with Winona Ryder's group, forming a strong bond with the actress and frequently enjoying lunch outings together throughout production.

Elisabeth Moss spoke about a group led by Angelina Jolie, confessing she found them exceedingly intimidating. She never even thought about joining because she felt they were all too cool.



 

Moss mentioned seeing Jolie more recently and described her as a lovely person. She noted that Jolie wasn't nearly as intimidating as she remembered from their time shooting together.

Winona hinted at a division on the set, reflecting back in 2010 on her expectations during filming. She told the Sydney Morning Herald that she had anticipated forming a close friendship with Jolie.

However, she felt Jolie needed to see her more as her character to deliver her best performance. Jolie's method acting approach appeared to yield results, as she ultimately clinched the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her portrayal in the film.
