What did Scott Swift do?
The alleged assault happened soon after Scott Swift and his mega popstar daughter Taylor had disembarked a boat and were confronted by photographers.
"Mr McDonald did not need medical treatment," police said. While on the other side, Swift has not made any public comment. The video clip showcased the singer, who is seen concealed beneath an umbrella, walking with her father and security guards along Neutral Bay Wharf at about 02:30 local time.
Cameras flash before two voices reported were to be of a photographer and a guard. The voices were heard accusing each other of touching umbrellas. It is unclear whether the footage captured the alleged incident.

The New South Wales Police said in a statement, "The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now under way by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command."
No charges have been made by the police as of now.
On the other hand, the Australian photographer told the outlet that he didn't do anything to provoke a reaction from Scott. He said, "He probably decided he needed to defend his daughter, for some reason," before adding, "In 23 years, I have never seen anything like it."
