Internet says SZA 'averted crisis' by showing love for Cancerians after saying her music isn't for them

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: American singer and songwriter SZA recently expressed affection for Cancerians after causing a stir by downplaying them while categorizing her songs according to zodiac signs.

Adding to this, recently SZA's fans were disappointed after her music was removed from TikTok, placing her among the artists affected by this decision.

The removal stemmed from a potential dispute between SZA's label, Universal Music Group (UMG), and TikTok. UMG, in an open letter, expressed dissatisfaction with TikTok for not adequately compensating artists for the use of their songs.

The letter also criticized TikTok for its inaction regarding the AI-generated songs of its artists.

SZA says she loves Cancerians after she stated she doesn't make music for them

According to Complex, SZA recently provided her candid assessment of which of her songs represent each of the twelve Zodiac signs. In a TikTok video for Apple Music, the 'All The Stars' singer spent two minutes contemplating the Zodiac and its compatibility with her songs.

The video commenced with SZA saying, "Hey, it's SZA. Y'all know I be on my astrology things, so we're gonna give you my songs but in astrology form. I've seen some of you do this already on your own, so let's see if I'm in alignment."

According to Complex, each sign was then called up through a voiceover, and SZA compared them to the songs in her catalog. For Capricorn, she chose the "driest" song she's made, which she identified as 'Nobody Gets Me'.

SZA mentioned in the clip, "Aquarius... That is like the most 'alt' song that I have. So that would be, like, 'Ghost in the Machine'."

Choosing 'Special' for Pisces and 'F2F' for Aries, SZA addressed the Aries community, saying, "You did it for the thrill."

Complex reported that for Taurus, SZA stated, "Taurus is like grounded but turnt up," and selected her track 'Gone Girl' for that sign.

Addressing Geminis for their 'brilliance,' SZA mentioned 'Blind' but humorously expressed her distaste for Cancerians immediately after. SZA stated, "Cancer..." before leaning back. "I don't make Cancer music. Respectfully."

Clarifying her statement about Cancerians, SZA shared a tweet by Pop Crave on her Instagram story and wrote, "Jk I love y'all 🫶💓😩", while stating her mother is also a Cancerian.
