Fans label Nick Cannon a 'colorist'

A particular promotional poster, however, portrayed one of the competitions as 'dark skin vs. light skin'.

This post invited the wrath of social media, garnering criticism from fans who called Cannon a "colorist" and begged for the network and Cannon to "be canceled."

The post was quickly edited, removed, and reuploaded with the title 'chocolate goddesses vs. caramel goddesses'.

One fan wrote, "Yall can reword it all you want, try to sell it however you want, its still the same colorist bs. Not only is ts detrimental to the black community but y’all are opening a door for other races to feed into the colorism as well. As a black network, yall should be ashamed."

While one user opined, "The switch up without even addressing what y’all did before is crazy," another wrote, "This is still colorist y’all are sad."

Another user chimed, "This is ignorant AF…Still! It’s the colorism for me!', ;'This is just as bad as lightskin vs dark skin, y'all didn't do anything but try to put a positive spin on colorism and it's not working out for y'all' and 'I will not condone comparing any of my queens by color. We are all greatness.'

Television producer Lemuel Plummer, who holds the positions of president and CEO, along with social media stars DeStorm Power, Amanda Cerny, and King Bach, created Zeus Network in 2018.

Shows like 'Bad Girls Club', 'Bad Boys', and 'Baddies' air on the network.

Nick Cannon spends a significant amount in Disneyland

This comes after Cannon disclosed that he annually spends a significant amount of money taking all his kids to Disneyland.

The TV presenter disclosed on Power 105.1's 'The Breakfast Club' radio program how much money he spends in a year to send his twelve children to the theme park.

"The crazy thing is cos I used to host Christmas morning at Disneyland, I used to get that Disney bag, there were perks, so all of that stuff was free," Cannon said and added, "It is no longer free!"
