ATLANTA, GEORGIA: In a court declaration, former President Donald Trump attacked Fani Willis, charging her with a "calculated plan to prejudice" potential jurors against him and his co-defendants in the Georgia election interference case.

A series of allegations regarding Willis's supposed relationship with the special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, has jeopardized her position as the district attorney of Fulton County overseeing the ex-POTUS' case.

Willis filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, March 5, after hearings held last week, claiming that her opponents had not proven there was "an actual conflict of interest" and that she should continue to represent the plaintiff.

However, Trump's attorneys swiftly refuted this, maintaining she had solely addressed the points regarding forensic malfeasance.

"Our case implicates far more appalling and unforgivable types of forensic misconduct — deliberately stoking racial and religious prejudice against defense counsel and the defendants, testifying under oath untruthfully, and committing fraud upon the tribunal — in the prosecution of the defendants," stated the filing, as per the New York Post

Trump's attorney, Steve Sadow, had already filed a claim alleging Willis ought to be dismissed from the case after she made a statement at a church service in which she seemed to suggest that the revelation of her connection with Wade was the result of racial discrimination.

The filing charged that the district attorney had deliberately utilized the "race and religion card" in her address, calling it "a calculated plan to prejudice defense counsel and the defendants in the minds of potential Fulton County jurors."

Moreover, the document claimed Willis and Wade provided false testimony during a court hearing about a crucial factual matter on whether or not their "personal relationship" started before the prosecutor was employed.

While Trump and his co-defendants have presented witnesses who have shown proof of the romantic relationship dating back to 2019, Willis and Wade have testified that their relationship began in 2022 and that there was never a conflict of interest.

One wrote, "Hum! It sounds she will be feeling the heat," while another added, "She’s and her cronies need to be locked up for perjury at the least. Equal justice for all."

A person remarked, "It was also brought up by Ms Merchant in the questioning today by GA senate that Fani made comments not only at the Church but also while Willis was on the stand in her removal hearing."

"I mean, if you're the type of person who is able to step back from politics for 2 seconds, it's incredibly obvious that Trump is right," mentioned someone else.
