ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Donald Trump has unleashed a scathing attack on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, accusing her of deception regarding the alleged financial aspects of her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

On Saturday, March 2, the ex-POTUS took to Truth Social to post a lengthy rant about Willis, and called his Georgia indictment a "great embarrassment," igniting further controversy surrounding the ongoing legal saga.

Donald Trump says DA Fani Willis' 'sexcapades' were paid for by the people of Georgia

In his Truth Social post, Trump raised questions about the source of funds purportedly involved in what he referred to as DA Willis' "sexcapades" with special prosecutor Wade, her former boyfriend. "Where did Fani get all that cash?" wondered the former president.

The duo was slated to prosecute Trump's alleged election interference case in Georgia before their relationship became the subject of hearings presided over by Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee.

These hearings have scrutinized the nature of their relationship and whether it constitutes a conflict of interest in the high-profile case.

According to Trump's legal team, Willis allegedly disbursed substantial sums to Wade for his legal services, with allegations of improper benefits arising from the special prosecutor subsequently funding their alleged vacations.

Willis countered these claims by asserting that she reimbursed Wade in cash, a statement Trump vehemently disputes, declaring, "No way she paid her lover, Prosecutor Nathan Wade back."

He continued, "She made up the cash story when she realized that her ‘sexcapades’ were paid for by the people of Georgia. Again, where’s the cash and where did it come from? The fact is there was no cash paid. That was just an excuse she made up after she got caught. The case can’t be closed until this is determined."

The ex-POTUS insisted that the case cannot proceed until these financial matters are unequivocally resolved. In addition to challenging the financial aspect of the duo's relationship, Trump alleged they were "lovers and friends" long before the commencement of legal proceedings against him.

He claimed, "In any event, they were lovers and friends long before this Witch Hunt was started. They wanted money and fame! Worked with Biden’s DOJ (spent days with them in D.C.) in going after Crooked Joe’s Opponent, ME. Terrible stuff! This case must be dropped – and great embarrassment to Georgia."

After Willis and Wade's affair came to light in January, they claimed that their relationship began in 2022, following the initiation of legal proceedings against Trump.

However, testimonies from witnesses, including Willis' former confidante and Wade's ex-law partner, suggest intimate knowledge of their relationship dating back to 2019. The timeline of their romantic involvement may influence Judge McAfee's decision regarding their continued participation in the prosecution, as per the New York Post.

Internet reacts to Donald Trump's scathing attack on Fulton County DA Fani Willis

Soon after Trump's latest remarks regarding DA Willis, especially his questioning her "cash story," came to light, netizens and his followers seemed to side with the ex-POTUS.

One wrote, "She must be arrested," while another quipped, "She is a worse liar than Jussie Smollett."

A person praised the 45th president, saying, "Trump is a legend! This is exactly the kind of energy we need. People recognize real! And real beats fake any day!"

"Fani Willis is going to need to retire after this," remarked someone else.

Donald Trump frames his indictments as a 'great badge of honor' during a North Carolina rally

Meanwhile, Trump seized the opportunity to address his supporters at a rally in North Carolina, denouncing the criminal charges against him and portraying himself as a "proud political dissident."

He lambasted Special Counsel Jack Smith, who has brought charges against him, labeling him as "deranged" and expressing confidence in prevailing against the charges.

The Saturday rally coincided with Trump's defiant stance against legal challenges, including the Supreme Court's upcoming hearing on his immunity from prosecution in the election interference case.

Amid mounting legal battles, Trump's rhetoric intensified as he vowed to secure the border and reiterated his commitment to his base, framing his indictment as a "great badge of honor."

"I stand before you today, not only as your past but also hopefully as your future president as a proud political dissident and as a public enemy of a rogue regime," declared the ex-POTUS.
