LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Jesse Watters ignited a storm of controversy with his scathing critique of President Biden's recent high-profile fundraiser in New York City, which featured prominent democrats like Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

"The Democratic Party is fractured. They are tearing themselves apart," Watters declared on his show. "A party divided cannot stand," he added.

Jesse Watters says Joe Biden just talked about 'ice cream and sunglasses' at fundraiser

The fundraiser, which reportedly saw tickets priced at hundreds of thousands of dollars, promised an evening of political star power and substantial fundraising for the Democratic Party.

However, according to Watters, attendees were left disappointed as Biden failed to deliver any groundbreaking content, instead relying on familiar topics like ice cream, sunglasses, and criticism of former President Trump.

"Biden, Barry, and Billy finally came out. There were high expectations because people paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per ticket. But Biden didn't have any new material. He just talked about ice cream, sunglasses, and Trump," Watters criticized.

Jesse Watters says Biden fundraiser proves America is divided

Watters' criticism didn't stop there. He pointed out the presence of far-left activists within the crowd, suggesting that their presence signaled growing dissent within the Democratic ranks. The evening was marred by multiple protests, further highlighting the fractures within the party.

"Now the night was spoiled four times by protestors. Biden's donors finally got to see what many in their party feel about him. And once the donors stepped out of the venue, they themselves were swarmed by more protestors," Watters highlighted.

While the fundraiser reportedly raised a substantial $26 million in a single night, Watters warned that money alone does not guarantee electoral success.

Jesse Watters draws parallels between Joe Biden campaign to Hillary Clinton's defeat

Drawing parallels to Hillary Clinton's failed presidential bid in 2016, despite her significant fundraising advantage over Trump, Watters argued that Biden's inability to unite various factions within the party could prove detrimental in upcoming elections.

"Sure, Biden raised $26 million one night, but having the biggest war chest doesn't guarantee you victory. Hillary doubled Trump's fundraising in 2016, but the Bernie bros wanted nothing to do with her, and Trump ran circles around her," Watters cautioned. "Biden's losing young voters, Muslims, minorities. Bubba and Barack, good luck trying to put that coalition back together," Watters said.

Watters' comments have sparked a heated debate online, with some echoing his concerns about Democratic unity and others criticizing his assessment as overly partisan and sensationalist.

Many supporters of Biden and the Democratic Party have defended the fundraiser as a successful event that showcased broad support for the party's agenda.

In response to Watters' remarks, some commentators have highlighted the challenges faced by any political party in maintaining cohesion and addressing the diverse interests within its ranks. While disagreements and protests may arise, they argue, the ability to engage in robust debate and activism is a sign of a healthy democratic process.

One user wrote, "So glad he was doing this instead of offering his apologies to the family of another victim he created."

Another commented, "Trump was not invited to police officers funeral apparently, he thought he could turn it into a campaign event. Let’s talk about how reprehensible that is. Never mind, fox is always reprehensible."
