Internet trolls Donald Trump lawyer Alina Habba for denying he hired her because she is 'good looking'

'People think that President Trump hired me because I’m good looking. That is absolutely not the case,' said Alina Habba

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Alina Habba, the lawyer selected by Donald Trump for his $250 million fraud case defense, became a subject of trolls' scrutiny after she stated that she doesn't believe she would be on TV or in her current position if she "didn't look the way I look."

In a recent episode of the 'PBD Podcast' on Thursday, January 4, co-host Bryan Callen raised eyebrows when he questioned why an "alpha man" like Trump would choose her for such a high-profile case.

Unfazed by the implications that her looks might have played a role in her professional success, Habba responded frankly, "[I]t doesn't hurt to be good-looking."

This was her response when questioned if her appearance contributed to her prominence in "Trump World."

Donald Trump's attorney added that her attractiveness took precedence over her intellect, as she can convincingly "fake being smart."

"I don't think I'd be on TV or sitting here if I didn’t look the way I look. I think I caught attention," Alina Habba stated Thursday. "It doesn't hurt to be good looking."

Co-host Bryan Callen pondered why a dominant figure like Trump would choose her as his defense saying, "He picks a smart, feminine, capable woman," to which Habba agreed.

Callen later questioned her, "How much of you being an attractive, smart, do you think played into that?"

Habba proceeded to give an extensive response, during which she asserted that she does not identify as a feminist and expressed a preference for beauty over intelligence, stating, "I can fake being smart."

"Somebody said to me, 'Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty?' And I said, "Oh, easy. Pretty. I can fake being smart."

She also asserted that, despite everything, her hiring was not influenced by a man who is not typically associated with progressive attitudes towards women.

"When you're good looking, that’s great," Habba added. "People think that President Trump hired me because I’m good looking. That is absolutely not the case."

This conversation rapidly spread to platform X, formally called Twitter with users trolling Trump's attorney.

A user tweeted, "The Court isn’t a beauty contest. I’ve seen better. And they still lost."

"Her personality, arrogance make her extremely unattractive," said another.

"FYI…you ain’t THAT good looking," stated one person.

One user shared a Gif and wrote, "She is clearly auditioning for First Lady…"

Another person quipped, "It's DEFINTELY not because of her legal skills...They were LITERALLY LAUGHING at her in Court in NYC!"

"She should start at least faking she’s smart," mentioned another.

"Humble is a foreign concept in Trump World," stated another.
