Internet trolls streamer Ninja as he declares he's skin cancer-free just 1 week after revealing diagnosis
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The gaming and streaming community was met with a wave of relief and joy as Tyler Blevins, widely known as Ninja, announced on social media that he is officially cancer-free, just one week after disclosing his skin cancer diagnosis.
The 32-year-old influencer shared the uplifting news, bringing an outpouring of support from his millions of followers worldwide. However, some social media users trolled the streamer and accused him of using the skin cancer diagnosis as a means to seek attention.
Ninja announces that he is cancer-free
Ninja's skin cancer battle began when he and his wife Jessica Blevins took a proactive step by scheduling a routine skin checkup. During this examination, a mole was identified on the bottom of Ninja's foot, leading to subsequent tests that revealed melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
Despite the initial shock, Ninja remained optimistic, expressing gratitude for the early detection and emphasizing the importance of regular skin checkups in his public statement.
In a heartfelt tweet, Ninja expressed his gratitude for the support and prayers he received during the challenging period. He revealed that the excision procedure was successful, with clear margins, and the biopsy of a nearby lesion showed promising results.
With immense relief, Ninja declared himself officially cancer-free, expressing love and appreciation for the overwhelming support from his community.
"Just got the news from my dermatologist, Great news x 2!” Tyler wrote. “Excision was successful with clear margins. Lesion biopsied nearby showed only mild atypia and was entirely removed with the biopsy. As of right now, I am officially cancer free ^_^ thank you all for the prayers and kind words this last week. Love you all," he added.

"There was a mole on the bottom of my foot that they wanted to remove just to be careful. It came back as melanoma, but they are optimistic that we caught it in the early stages," the online star, who has 23.9 million subscribers on YouTube," he continued.
"I had another dark spot appear near it, so today they biopsied that and removed a larger area around the melanoma with the hopes that under the microscope they will see clear non-melanoma edges and we will know we got it," he added.
"I’m grateful to have hope in finding this early, but please take this as a PSA to get skin checkups," the streamer concluded.

"Also, thank you for your outpouring love. I’m here to be strong for @Ninja and give him all the help and support he needs!"
"We feel strong knowing God is walking with us through all of this!" she concluded.
