CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO: Jason Kelce dropped a few subtle references to his brother Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in his emotional retirement speech on Monday, March 4.

The 36-year-old veteran Philadelphia Eagles player announced his retirement after 13 seasons in the NFL during a press conference on Monday.

Swift's fans also known as Swifties now claim that Jason made references to two of her songs; 'All Too Well' and 'Wildest Dreams' in his speech which moved him and his brother Travis to tears. 



 

What did Jason Kelce say in his speech? 

While talking about his relationship with his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in a press conference held by the Eagles, Jason was in tears, but Swift fans noticed something that excited them.

It was noticed that Jason made a subtle mention of the pop star in his retirement speech. Jason said, "I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love, I knew that relationship all too well," as per Dailymail.

However, the references didn't stop there, with Kelce later saying in his speech, "If you go above and beyond for this city, you will be rewarded above your wildest dreams."

For context, 'Wildest Dreams,' is one of Swift's early-day hits and is included in her 2014 album, '1989,' which was updated and released once more in October as '1989 (Taylor's Version).'

After being selected in the sixth round (191st overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft, Jason went on to win Super Bowl LII, establishing himself as one of the league's most devoted players.

A user wrote on X, "Jason Kelce just quoted "All too well" in his retirement speech. Love it so much."
