Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner persuaded Joe Rogan to host Donald Trump on his podcast, claims Dana White
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Joe Rogan invited Donald Trump to his podcast after being persuaded by Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, as claimed by one of the president-elect's closest friends, Dana White.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the UFC CEO revealed that he spent years asking Rogan to invite the MAGA spearhead to his podcast.
"I’ve been working on Rogan for years. I knew that if I could get him and Trump together that they would hit it off," he shared.
White finally had a breakthrough when he invited the 57-year-old UFC color commentator to a private dinner with the incoming president's daughter and son-in-law, who served as senior White House advisers during the first Trump administration.
Donald Trump discussed everything from stolen election claims to Kim Jong-un on Joe Rogan's podcast
Donald Trump eventually appeared on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' in October 2024, and discussed everything from the "biggest mistake" of his first presidency to what he discussed with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, as per BBC.
The 78-year-old politician also reiterated his 2020 stolen election claims, saying, "I would bring in papers that you would not believe, so many different papers. That election was so crooked, it was the most crooked."
Trump's three-hour-long appearance on Rogan's podcast turned out to be a massive hit and has since garnered over 54 million views on YouTube.
Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump right before the 2024 election
Joe Rogan went on to throw his endorsement behind Donald Trump on the eve of the November 2024 election.
Releasing his interview with Elon Musk, the UFC color commentator tweeted, "The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn't for him we'd be f*****. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that's an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast."

If it wasn't for him we'd be fucked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.

Trump, who was at the time speaking at a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, acknowledged the endorsement, saying, "It just came over the wires that Joe Rogan just endorsed me, is that great. Thank you, Joe. That’s so nice. And he doesn’t do that, he doesn’t do that stuff," as per CNN.
"And he tends to be a little bit more liberal than some of the people in this room," he added.
Dana White 'does not want anything' from Donald Trump other than their friendship
Dana White further shared with Rolling Stone that he’s with Donald Trump without any expectation of personal profit.
"I don’t want anything from him. I don’t want anything from this election. I don’t want anything from him in that way, other than his friendship," the 55-year-old businessman asserted.
On his relationship with Trump and Rogan, White said, "I’m like the middleman in this relationship. I’m very close to Rogan and loyal to Rogan, and Rogan is very close and loyal to me; and then I’m very close to Trump and very loyal to Trump, and Trump is loyal to me. And we’re all connected by this UFC thing."
