MIAMI, FLORIDA: GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump shared a thread of 17 life lessons on social media platforms X and Instagram on Monday, November 4, instead of endorsing her father a day before the election.

Ivanka has avoided politics since leaving her White House adviser role when Trump's term ended nearly four years ago. The former president's daughter has not appeared at a single campaign event for him besides the final night of the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July 2024, according to Daily Beast.

The GOP candidate's daughter shared a picture from her 43rd birthday on X and mentioned in the caption, "This past week, I turned 43! Reflecting on life’s lessons, here are some truths I’ve learned along the way:"

She then posted a thread of 17 life lessons in the post's comment section. She mentioned in the first point that family and friends are everything and we should nourish these relationships, check in on them, and "let people know you care, even across distances." She then quoted Esther Perel, "The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life".

Ivanka's long list included advice on life, friends, and nutrition and quotes from Indian-born American entrepreneur Naval Ravikant and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, per the outlet.

Other points on her list were to "forgive people", "be open to the truth, wherever it leads", and "approach people and life with love and positivity."

She concluded the post and wrote, "Here’s to another year of growth, love, and meaningful moments!"

Ivanka Trump was absent from her father's campaign trail

Ivanka Trump has been absent from the campaign trail with Donald Trump after being one of his biggest advocates in 2016 and 2020 when she introduced her father at the RNC on both occasions.

The New York Times reported that the former president's daughter spent the last two years doing a bit of everything, everywhere instead of stumping for women’s votes in Pennsylvania and other swing states.

Additionally, Ivanka did not speak on stage at the RNC in Milwaukee and appeared only for a brief appearance on the final day. She was also absent for the entire hush-money trial in Manhattan, where her father was convicted of 34 felony counts.

During an interview with the New York Times, Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner revealed that their departure from political life will remain in place even if Donald Trump wins the White House in 2024.

He said, "We’re rooting for him—obviously, we’re proud of him. But, you know, either way, our life will just continue to move forward."

The businessman further added that Donald Trump's retaking the White House would not bring about "a major shift in terms of what we prioritize."

Internet mocks Ivanka for sharing life lessons instead of endorsing Donald Trump before election

Several internet users mocked Ivanka Trump as she shared a thread of 17 life lessons on social media platforms X and Instagram instead of endorsing her father a day before the election.

A user wrote on X, "I thought that was cold as ice," while one added, "Yeah it’s kinda weird she hasn’t been active in her father’s campaign."

A person also stated, "Even if I hated politics and was treated awful I would be right by my father’s side. Especially because of what he is going through to save this country," whereas one mentioned, "She is too close to trump not to choose side! It is errored, my view, reckless!"

A user also wrote, "Her silence during this campaign says a lot... its really hurt Trump," while one added, "She and Jared did something that pissed Trump off. I don't think he wants her anywhere near the campaign."
