WASHINGTON, DC: In a show of admiration from afar, Ivanka Trump voiced her love for her father, President Donald Trump, despite skipping his 79th birthday celebrations on Saturday, June 14.

The day marked Trump's milestone birthday as well as the 250th anniversary of the US Army, for which the commander-in-chief arranged a lavish parade. It was followed by a dinner at the White House, attended by several members of the Trump family.

As for Ivanka, her whereabouts during the celebration remained unclear. However, just two nights earlier, she was photographed looking “bleary-eyed” while leaving Katz’s Deli on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, hand in hand with her husband Jared Kushner, as per The Daily Beast.

The couple had reportedly been out late celebrating the 40th birthday of Jared’s brother, Joshua Kushner, during what was described as a “wild night.”

Ivanka Trump once revealed that she hates politics

While speculation swirls around Ivanka Trump’s absence from her father’s birthday celebration, it’s important to remember that she has openly expressed her disdain for politics.

On 'The Skinny Confidential' podcast, Ivanka confessed, “I hate politics. I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable.”

She described the political world as “a very dark, negative business” with a darkness she doesn’t want to invite into her life.

Explaining her decision to step back from public service, she said, “The main reason I am not going back to serve now is I know the cost, and it's a price that I'm not willing to make my kids bear."
