'I’ve had it since preschool': Landon Barker opens up about having 'very minor' Tourette syndrome

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Barker’s son Landon has recently shared with his social media fans that he has “very minor” Tourette Syndrome.

The 20-year-old influencer recently took to his social media to reveal that he has Tourette Syndrome since he was just five years old.

Landon Barker reveals his health condition

In a short video shared on TikTok, the son of Travis and actress and model Shanna Moakler, both 48, said, “Hi guys! I figured I’d speak on this eventually. But yeah, I actually do have very, very minor Tourette’s.”

Per Mayo Clinic, “Tourette (too-RET) syndrome is a disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics) that can't be easily controlled," per Daily Mail.

In this form of nervous disorder, the site reveals, “You might repeatedly blink your eyes, shrug your shoulders or blurt out unusual sounds or offensive words.”

Landon further shared during the video that he was diagnosed early in his life. The musician shared, “I’ve had it since I can remember, like preschool.”

He went on, “I remember exactly ’cause a teacher used to accuse me of rolling my eyes at her. Because one of the tics was like that. It was like a weird thing I do with my eyes.”

He also opened up about the specific time when the syndrome kicks in, saying, “Yeah, it really just acts up in nervous situations and nerve-racking environments for me.” He ended the segment by confessing, “But I thought I’d just share because why not?”

Landon Barker shared he has broken up with girlfriend

Last month, on February 6, Landon shared that he was no longer in a relationship with the TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio.

In a statement published on Instagram on February 6, he confirmed the split and said, “Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together.”

He further noted that they broke up amicably and wanted to focus on themselves. He shared, “We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other.”

He concluded by saying, “I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much!”

Landon Barker shared he has 'baby fear'

The 'Friends With Your Ex' singer recently shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in early February that he has "baby fear." Though his father welcomed a son with Kourtney Kardashian on November 1, 2023, the 20-year-old is yet to hold his baby brother.

During a recent interview, when he was asked about his half-brother Rocky, Landon replied excitedly, "It's been amazing, it's been great."

However, when the reporter asked him to share about his bond with the baby, he confessed, "Let me get down deep into it. I’m a little bit scared of babies. I have a baby fear. I feel like giving him until one, they are just so fragile, you know what I’m saying."

However, that didn't stop him from loving his baby brother unconditionally, as he admitted, "I love him, he’s the most adorable baby ever, though."
