Internet reacts to New England Patriots' captain Jabrill Peppers arrest

Jabrill Pepper's fans expressed their disappointment after the athlete was arrested for assault and drug possession. One person wrote on X, "Idk how these guys have time to train, practice, recover, play games, and still find time to commit crimes."

Looks like Peppers took “defensive play” to a whole new level—off the field and into the headlines!" an individual joked.

"Can’t believe it took this long for news of Peppers arrest to get out," one felt.

Another reacted, "Man, folks are given such huge opportunities but they can’t seem to let go of their bad habits."

One reasoned, "Wow this sounds horrible. What a downfall of a year from week 1 where the standards weren’t even high. I’m ready for the B’s to start & a new NFL season to begin next year after the Pats draft Campbell/Banks/Hunter & sign a big time LT/WR; whichever they miss out on in the 1st rd."

"Bro acting like this while being blessed to be in the league," a disappointed fan wrote.
