Taking to social media on Saturday, December 14, Ally Lewber said on her Instagram Story, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking on me. I’m okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy at this time.”
Earlier that night, prior to his arrest, Kennedy and Lewber had attended Kathy Hilton's yearly holiday party. Kennedy was arrested for allegedly grabbing a woman during a furious argument, but according to sources who spoke to TMZ, the woman was unharmed.
According to the police documents, the woman stated that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.”
Per the booking record that the New York Post was able to obtain, the 'Vanderpump Rules' star was freed after posting $20,000 bail.
Kristen Doute, who dated Kenney intermittently between 2013 and 2015, voiced her opinion about his arrest, even though this is the first time Lewber has commented on the news.
On Thursday, December 12, Doute wrote in all caps, "FINALLY," along with a story about his arrest.

Shortly after his arrest, James Kennedy's representatives issued a statement.
“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” they said. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
Bravo revealed that 'Vanderpump Rules' would return for Season 12 with a new cast a few weeks prior to the incident.
Kennedy joined the popular reality show, which follows the staff of Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurant SUR, in 2015 during Season 3 while dating Doute,
Lewber recently told The Post that she and Kennedy's relationship was "better than ever" and that she was excited for their future together away from the spotlight.
“We’ve been the best that we’ve ever been. And I think it probably has to do with the fact that we haven’t been filming in a while,” she said on December 3. “I think it’ll be nice to just feel like we have some privacy and, like, [we] can actually focus on us,” she replied when inquired about the reboot.
Kennedy began dating Lewber in January 2022 after his engagement to Raquel Leviss ended. She also made the following statement after Kennedy's arrest.
“The amount of times I convinced myself that the abuse I endured by James Kennedy Georgiou was a ‘misunderstanding’ is sickening,” she wrote on Instagram.
