LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx had a memorable evening at the Golden Globes.

The 57-year-old actor attended the awards ceremony with his two daughters, Anelise, 16, and Corinne, 30, marking a proud father-daughter moment after his recovery from a serious medical emergency in April 2023.

Jamie Foxx took to Instagram to share his thoughts about the event, posting a heartfelt photo with his daughters.

He added, "When I was asked on the carpet, what do you think about the awards? I said I have already won to be here with my two girls."

"Standing upright. Standing with so much love. It’s not my award. It’s my reward. God is good and I think you know the rest," Jamie added in the post. 

Apart from the caption, he wrote "Family matters" on the picture. 

Jamie shares Anelise with his ex-partner Kristin Grannis and Corinne with his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline according to People.

Jamie Foxx was filming 'Back in Action' when he suffered a medical emergency

Jamie Foxx was nominated for best performance in stand-up comedy on television for his special, 'Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was'.

The show recounted his medical emergency, which included complications following a brain bleed and stroke while filming 'Back in Action' with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta.

Speaking about her father’s recovery, Corinne recalled the emotional significance of his presence at her wedding.

"I walked down to a strings version of 'Georgia On My Mind' by Ray Charles," she said in an October 3 interview with Vogue, adding, "My dad won his Oscar for playing [Ray] in 2005. At 10 years old, I was his plus one and got to share that special moment with him. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we came down the aisle."
